I watched Wussywat
Clumsy Cat on CBeebies one morning, however my grandson had other plans he went
off to play with his toys.
This children’s
series is about an inquisitive cat that always gets into a muddle and his
clumsiness gets him into trouble.
It’s narrated
by Liza Tarbuck.
The illustrations
and animation look great.
The story lines
are fun, with a play on words, for example my favourite character is a Tortoise
called Ortus.
Other
characters in the series include Duckadile the Crocodile, Ird the Bird and Oggy
the Doggy; now you know why pre school children are confused!
In my opinion, older
children would love the story lines but may think it too babyish because of the
characters names, as for pre school children they may not understand the story.
My final
thought, I have never heard of a cat being called a ‘Wussywat’ before, have
you?
Watch an
episode now and tell me what you think?
