On The Way Home

I read the children’s book called, ‘On the Way Home.’

This children’s book was written and illustrated by Jill Murphy.

It’s a delightful children’s picture book about a young girl with a creative imagination.

It tells the tale of a young girl called Claire that’s going home to tell her mum all about her bad knee.

But on the way, Claire meets some of her friends and as they each ask what happened

Claire begins to tell them a very creative and imaginative story of how, she had gotten her bad knee.

So, what will happen when she gets home?

Will Claire tell her mum the truth or some tall tale?

To find out what happened next, either read the book or watch the story on YouTube, then you can tell me what you think.

It’s a great book that all young children will enjoy that inspires a creative imagination.

Mr Wolf’s Pancakes

I read the children’s book called, ‘Mr Wolf’s Pancakes.’

This children’s book was written by Jan Fearnley.

It’s a delightful children’s picture book with a twist.

When the wolf character from the three little pigs try to make pancake’s he soon finds out that he needs some help.

But when the other storybook characters refuse to help him, he has to make them all by himself.

Once cooked they smelt so good that the other storybook characters demanded they get some.

So, what do you think Mr Wolf did next?

Do you think Mr Wolf refused to give them some pancakes?

To find out what happened next, either read the book or watch the story on YouTube, then you can tell me what you think.

It’s a great book with an interesting storyline that features familiar storybook characters, that young children will enjoy.

How To Hide A Lion From Grandma

I read the children’s book called, ‘How to hide a Lion from grandma.’

This children’s book was written and illustrated by Helen Stephens.

It’s a delightful children’s picture book that tells the tale of small girl called Iris and a lion that lived with her.

Iris was worried when she’d found out that her grandma was coming to stay. She might get scared of the lion, thought Iris.

So, she decided to hide him.

Hiding the lion was easy, her grandma didn’t even notice a lion in the room, mind you, he was disguised.

Then one day Iris saw her grandma putting food into a large box in her room.

So, was grandma hiding something too?

A very interesting story, with a twist.

To find out what happened next, why not read the book or watch the story on YouTube, then you can tell me what you think?

It’s a great book that all young children will enjoy.
