On The Way Home

I read the children’s book called, ‘On the Way Home.’

This children’s book was written and illustrated by Jill Murphy.

It’s a delightful children’s picture book about a young girl with a creative imagination.

It tells the tale of a young girl called Claire that’s going home to tell her mum all about her bad knee.

But on the way, Claire meets some of her friends and as they each ask what happened

Claire begins to tell them a very creative and imaginative story of how, she had gotten her bad knee.

So, what will happen when she gets home?

Will Claire tell her mum the truth or some tall tale?

To find out what happened next, either read the book or watch the story on YouTube, then you can tell me what you think.

It’s a great book that all young children will enjoy that inspires a creative imagination.

So, will Mrs Large ever get five minutes peace?

Whatever Next

I read the children’s book called, ‘Whatever Next.’

This children’s book was written and illustrated by Jill Murphy.

It’s a delightful children’s picture book that tells the tale of a baby bear that wants to go to the moon.

As baby bear looked up at the night sky he tells his mother that he wants to go to the moon. She tells him that he can’t because its bathtime and that he’d have to find a rocket.

So, whilst baby bear waited for his bath to be ready he looked around the house for a suitable rocket, finding one, he collected some things to take with him on his journey to the moon.

And then just before bathtime he travelled to the moon meeting an owl on the way.

What do you think baby bear and owl found on the moon?

To find out what happened next, why not read the book or watch the story on YouTube, then you can tell me what you think.

This is a wonderful children’s picture book that encourages children to use their imagination.

How To Have A Peaceful Sleep?

I read the children’s book called ‘Peace at Last,’ the other morning.

This book was written and illustrated by Jill Murphy

It’s a lovely book telling the story of a very tired bear.

When Mr Bear tries to sleep in the house, he finds that every room is noisy.
Deciding to sleep in the garden, he finds that it’s also too noisy. Finally just as he’s about to fall asleep, the alarm clock goes off and wakes him up!

Don’t you just hate that feeling?

I’d recommend you read this book to young children at bedtime. It’s also wonderfully illustrated.

I have two possible solutions for Mr Bear’s sleeping problem. He could go to bed early or make sure he falls asleep before Mrs Bear does!

Read the book or watch the video on YouTube, then you’ll know what I mean.
