I read
the children’s book called, ‘More Pies,’ a few days ago.
This
children’s book was written by Robert Munsch and is beautifully illustrated by Michael
Martchenko.
It’s
a delightful children’s picture book that tells the tale of a young boy named Samuel
who was always hungry.
When
Samuel woke up, he was hungry.
Even
after eating two massive breakfasts with milkshakes he was still hungry.
In
fact, in his words he would say that, ‘He was starving.’
Then
Samuel learns of a pie eating contest and goes along to the park to check it
out. He hopes to be a contestant, but not to win a prize he just wanted to eat
the delicious pies and fill his tummy up.
So,
what do you think happened next?
Did
Samuel become a contestant or was he still starving when he returned home?
Why
not read the book or watch the story on YouTube, then you can tell me what you
think?
It’s
a great book for young children they’d like it, especially the pie bit.
Anyways,
I’m off now to eat my own apple pie, enjoy the book.
