I read
the children’s book called, ‘Moving Day,’ one day last week.
This
children’s book was written by Robert Munsch and illustrated by Michael
Martchenko.
It’s
a delightful children’s picture book that tells the tale of a young girl named
Danielle and the day she moved.
It
was moving day and after hanging about just watching her parents rushing around
packing things into boxes, she was told to go and help pack some things too.
Not
sure what to pack, her mischievous side came into play and so she decided to
pack her brothers and sisters, which is not really a good idea.
And
so, after they’d moved into the new house and the boxes were opened that contained
her brothers and sisters, she found out how mad they were.
Since
moving in they’d been chasing her and when they catch her, she will experience for
herself what it’s really like inside a cardboard box.

I read
the children’s book called, ‘Get Me Another One,’ the other morning.
This
children’s book was written by Robert Munsch and illustrated by Mike Boldt.
It’s
a delightful children’s picture book that tells the tale of a young girl called
Kristi and her first fishing expedition.
On a
first ever fishing trip with her dad and due to unforeseen bad weather conditions,
Kristi fell into the ocean.
When
her dad lifted her out, he was surprised to see that she’d caught a large fish
with her bare hands and when Kristi said she loved fishing, he threw her back into
the ocean again to catch a second one, unfortunately this time it was too large
to take home.
So,
how do you think Kristi’s mum felt when she learned how her daughter caught her
first fish?

I read
the children’s book called, ‘Deep Snow,’ the other morning.
This
children’s book was written by Robert Munsch and illustrated by Michael
Martchenko.
It’s
a delightful children’s picture book that tells the tale of a father and his
two daughters that have a snow adventure.
When
sisters Ali and Kate get stuck in a snow drift their father tries very hard to
get them out. Eventually he manages to pull them out, but then he finds that they’re
missing their boots.
Being
a good dad, he tries to retrieve the boots, but as he reaches further and
further into the hole he unfortunately falls in and finds himself stuck.
Now
with their dad stuck in the snow, how will Ali and Kate get him out?

I read
the children’s book called, ‘Ready, Set, Go,’ the other day.
This
children’s book was written by Robert Munsch and is beautifully illustrated by Michael
Martchenko.
It’s
a delightful children’s picture book that tells the tale of a young girl named Miranda
and how she accidently won a race.
Miranda’s
father had entered a race and needed some water to drink before it started, so
to help, Miranda went to get a bottle of water for him.
Unfortunately,
before she could get back to him the horn was heard which started the race, undeterred
Miranda looked for her father chasing after each runner to find out where he
was.
She
didn’t know it at the time, but she’d beaten all the other runners and won the
race.

It’s
a great book for children and adults to read for it shows that you’re never too
