I watched Tinga
Tinga on CBeebies the other morning with my grandson. He loves the brightly coloured animals.
The fusion of
Tingatinga Art combined with African folk tales are shown in wonderful
animation all thanks to Claudia Lloyd the series creator.
This delightful
children’s television series is based on African folk tales and is narrated by a
Red Monkey voiced by Eugene Muchiri / Geoffrey Curtin.
The music and
catchy theme tune was produced by Eric Wainaina.
It’s very
amusing I must admit it’s one of my favourite children’s television series so
far.
All the animals
have different accents. The elephant is voiced by Lenny Henry.
The storylines,
songs and animation are great, it’s definitely worth watching the children will
love it.
In my opinion, it’s
a great children’s television series that encourages friendship, teamwork and
leadership.
My final
thought; it’s enjoyable and fun to watch even for adults!
