I read
the children’s book called, ‘Makeup Mess,’ a few days ago.
This
children’s book was written by Robert Munsch and is beautifully illustrated by Michael
Martchenko.
It’s
a delightful children’s picture book that tells the tale of a young girl named
Julie that wants to look pretty.
Julie
wants to look pretty and believed that wearing makeup was the answer.
So,
after buying a huge box full of makeup she applied the fantastic colours to her
face.
Believing
she now looked like a movie star, she ran downstairs to show her parents how
pretty she looked.
Unfortunately,
her face frightened the pair, for she looked more like a clown than a movie
star.
How
will her parents convince Julie that she’s pretty enough without the makeup?
Or
is she doomed to be a clown forever!
A
great book for both children and adults to read.
So,
to find out what happened in the end, why not read the book or watch the story
on YouTube, then you can tell me what you think?
