Is Your Postman A Hero?

I watched Postman Pat on CBeebies the other morning whilst waiting for my grandson to arrive.

Postman Pat was written and created by John Cunliffe and directed by Ivor Wood.

The Special Delivery theme tune is more modern; however the previous Postman Pat theme tune is still a favourite.

Postman Pat is an animated children’s programme about a delivery driver called Pat; he used to work for Royal Mail but now works for the Special Delivery Service.

Pat delivers parcels in his red delivery van to the residents of Greendale accompanied by Jess his black and white cat.

The day often starts well but doesn't last long, there's always a problem or unusual event for Pat to solve before his last special delivery of the day.

The story-lines are great and are enjoyable to watch.

My favourite character is Pat, he’s everyone’s hero.

It’s definitely worth watching, the children will love it.

In my opinion the older characters at the beginning made it look a little dated, however get past the start and you’ll find it’s been updated incorporating other cultures and disability, which is really great.

My final thought: Postman Pat is a wonderful children’s programme, that’s aged well.

Watch a series and tell me what you think?
