I read the children’s book called, ‘Wombat
Stew,’ the other day.
This children’s book was written by Marcia
K. Vaughan and illustrated by Pamela Lofts.
It’s a delightful children’s picture
book about a dingo and a wombat.
When a dingo catches a wombat all he
can think about is putting the wombat in a stew.
So, the other animals convince the
dingo to put lots of different and unusual ingredients into the stew.
The dingo believing that it will
enhance the taste follows their instructions but soon finds out that it tastes
terrible.
What do you think happened next?
Did the dingo still add the wombat to
the terrible tasting stew, or was this just a trick to stop the dingo from
eating their friend?
It’s a great story of friendship and
rescue, that young children will like.
To find out what really happened why
not read the book or watch the video on YouTube then you can tell me what you
think?
