The Dinosaur Who Lost His Roar

I read the children’s book called, ‘The Dinosaur Who Lost His Roar.’

This children’s book was written by Russell Punter and illustrated by Andy Elkerton.

It’s a delightful children’s picture book about a dinosaur named Sid.

Sid lives in the forest. He liked crashing through the bushes, climbing the trees and splashing in the river, but most of all he liked scaring his friends, Spike, Ross, Ollie and Rex.

Then one day Sid got a sore throat and when he roared to scare his friends, instead of a roar, a croak came out instead. His friends laughed, embarrassed Sid ran home. He realised then that he’d lost his voice.

The next day Sid felt better and went to look for his friends to say he was sorry.

He looked everywhere but they were missing, then he spotted some mysterious footprints, following them it led to a huge dinosaur.

Oh no, the huge dinosaur had captured his friends and was getting ready to eat them!

What could he do to save them?

He could roar but if a croak came out he would be eaten too.

What do you think happened next?

To find out either read the book or watch the video on YouTube, then you can tell me what Sid did next.

It’s a great book for young children that encourages friendship.
