Dinosaurs In My School

I read the children’s book called, ‘Dinosaurs in my school.’

This children’s book was written by Timothy Knapman and illustrated by Sarah Warburton.

It’s a delightful children’s picture book about a small boy who believes there’s dinosaurs in his school.

He’d never seen a dinosaur in the park or even on the street but at school it was different for he’d seen them in the classrooms making a mess.

So, when a teacher finds only the small boy in a very messy classroom he blames it on the dinosaur, but with no dinosaur in sight is he to be believed?

The question is “What happened to the dinosaur?”

So, could it be hiding or was this just a figment of the small boy’s imagination?

What do you think?

To find out what happened next, either read the book or watch the story on YouTube, then you can tell me what you think.

It’s a great book that all young children will enjoy that inspires a creative imagination.

Wombat Stew

I read the children’s book called, ‘Wombat Stew,’ the other day.

This children’s book was written by Marcia K. Vaughan and illustrated by Pamela Lofts.

It’s a delightful children’s picture book about a dingo and a wombat.

When a dingo catches a wombat all he can think about is putting the wombat in a stew.

So, the other animals convince the dingo to put lots of different and unusual ingredients into the stew.

The dingo believing that it will enhance the taste follows their instructions but soon finds out that it tastes terrible.

What do you think happened next?

Did the dingo still add the wombat to the terrible tasting stew, or was this just a trick to stop the dingo from eating their friend?

It’s a great story of friendship and rescue, that young children will like.

To find out what really happened why not read the book or watch the video on YouTube then you can tell me what you think?

The Great Balloon Hallaballoo

I read the children’s book called, ‘The Great Balloon Hallaballoo,’ yesterday.

This children’s book was written by Peter Bently and beautifully illustrated by Mei Matsuoka.

It’s a delightful children’s picture book about a squirrel called Simon and a hot air balloon.

When Simon the squirrel’s mum gives him a shopping list that includes cheese, he takes an unusual balloon ride into space.

In the milky way he visits planets and meets aliens where he obtains the things from the shopping list.

Returning to Earth Simon has all the things from the shopping list except one, the cheese.

Oh no, what do you think will happen when Simon’s mum find’s out that he’s forgotten to get the cheese?

Not sure, then why not read the book or watch the video on YouTube then you can tell me what happened next.

A delightful fantasy book, that inspires creativity and imagination, great for young children.

The First Hippo On The Moon

I read the children’s book called, ‘The First Hippo on the Moon,’ last week.

This children’s book was written by David Walliams and illustrated by Tony Ross.

It’s a delightful children’s picture book about two hippos that both want to be the first hippo on the moon.

A rich hippo named Hercules Waldorf Franklin the third is able to pay for a rocket to be built, but unfortunately the not so rich hippo named Sheila has no money and so her friends help her make one.

This is a wonderful story for children, that encourages friendship, teamwork and a never give up attitude to difficult situations.

It’s hilarious story with a twist and a secret that children will like.

To find out if any hippo actually reached the moon, then either read the book or watch the video on YouTube, then you can tell me what you think or what you’d do if you went to the moon?

Grumpy Bird

I read the children’s book called, ‘Grumpy Bird,’ the other morning.

This children’s book was written and illustrated by Jeremy Tankard.

It’s a delightful children’s picture book about a very grumpy bird.

When bird decides to walk instead of fly he meets a whole lot of animals that want to know what he’s doing.

Not only do they ask him the obvious but then they proceed to walk along with him, this really irritated bird as he wanted to walk alone.

I think there’s a little bit of bird in all of us, as it’s very annoying when you’re constantly being asked “What you doing?” when it’s quite clear!

An amusing story for both young children and adults.

So, why not read the book or watch the video on YouTube then you can tell me if you’re a grumpy bird too?
