We Share Everything

I read the children’s book called, ‘We Share Everything.’

This children’s book was written by Robert Munsch and is beautifully illustrated by Michael Martchenko.

It’s a delightful children’s picture book that tells the tale of two new students and their sharing experience at kindergarten.

When Amanda and Jeremiah first started kindergarten, they didn’t know what to do.

Then as one child played with a toy, it wasn’t long before the other child demanded it and had a tantrum. Each time this happened, the kindergarten teacher would go over to the pair and tell them in a calm voice;

“At kindergarten, we share everything.”

So, Amanda and Jeremiah begin to share, but not with toys. They shared and exchanged their clothes.

What will the kindergarten teacher say?

Will she be impressed or shocked by Amanda and Jeremiah sharing antics?

To find out what happened next, why not read the book or watch the story on YouTube, then you can tell me what you thought of the book?

Personally, I think it’s a great book, both educational and fun to read that young children would like. It explains sharing in a simplistic way.

The Magic Hat

I read the children’s book called ‘The Magic Hat,’ the other morning.

This children’s book was written by Mem Fox and is beautifully illustrated by Tricia Tusa.

It’s a delightful rhyming children’s picture book that tells the tale of a magical hat.

When a magical hat flies into town and lands on various people’s heads. It turns them into animals.

Fortunately, a wizard comes to the rescue, and after turning the animals back into people he then leaves the town taking the magical hat with him.

Phew that was a stroke of luck, we could have been next!

It’s a wonderful book with an incredible rhyming story that’s great for young children.

A fantastic book that inspires creativity.

It’s especially fun when guessing which animal, each person will turn into.

So, why not read the book or watch the story on YouTube, then you can tell me what you think?

Or you could pretend to put on the magic hat, then you could tell me what type of animal you turned into.

No Clean Clothes

I read the children’s book called, ‘No Clean Clothes,’ one day last week.

This children’s book was written by Robert Munsch and is beautifully illustrated by Michael Martchenko.

It’s a delightful children’s picture book that tells the tale of a young girl named Lacey and a strange Grandma shirt.

When Lacey couldn’t find a clean shirt to wear, then the only option was to wear the strange shirt that Grandma had sent to her as a present.

Unhappily she walked down the road wearing it, but then to her amazement, animals attracted by the print on the front of her shirt started acting weirdly, which made for a very interesting walk indeed.

Now happy with her strange Grandma shirt she couldn’t wait to contact her Grandma and ask that she send shirts to the school, so that all the other children could enjoy this strange animal attraction.

I’m not going to spoil it for you.

So, to find out why the animals were attracted to the strange Grandma shirt, you’ll either need to read the book or watch the story on YouTube, then you can tell me what you think?

It’s a great book with a wonderful storyline that young children will like.

And like Lacey, I’m sure we all have a Grandma shirt, somewhere hidden away!

Makeup Mess

I read the children’s book called, ‘Makeup Mess,’ a few days ago.

This children’s book was written by Robert Munsch and is beautifully illustrated by Michael Martchenko.

It’s a delightful children’s picture book that tells the tale of a young girl named Julie that wants to look pretty.

Julie wants to look pretty and believed that wearing makeup was the answer.

So, after buying a huge box full of makeup she applied the fantastic colours to her face.

Believing she now looked like a movie star, she ran downstairs to show her parents how pretty she looked.

Unfortunately, her face frightened the pair, for she looked more like a clown than a movie star.

How will her parents convince Julie that she’s pretty enough without the makeup?

Or is she doomed to be a clown forever!

A great book for both children and adults to read.

So, to find out what happened in the end, why not read the book or watch the story on YouTube, then you can tell me what you think?

More Pies

I read the children’s book called, ‘More Pies,’ a few days ago.

This children’s book was written by Robert Munsch and is beautifully illustrated by Michael Martchenko.

It’s a delightful children’s picture book that tells the tale of a young boy named Samuel who was always hungry.

When Samuel woke up, he was hungry.

Even after eating two massive breakfasts with milkshakes he was still hungry.

In fact, in his words he would say that, ‘He was starving.’

Then Samuel learns of a pie eating contest and goes along to the park to check it out. He hopes to be a contestant, but not to win a prize he just wanted to eat the delicious pies and fill his tummy up.

So, what do you think happened next?

Did Samuel become a contestant or was he still starving when he returned home?

Why not read the book or watch the story on YouTube, then you can tell me what you think?

It’s a great book for young children they’d like it, especially the pie bit.

Anyways, I’m off now to eat my own apple pie, enjoy the book.
