I read the children’s
book called, ‘The Incredible Book Eating Boy,’ one day last week.
This children’s
book was written and illustrated by Oliver Jeffers.
It’s a beautifully
illustrated book about a boy called Henry who eats books.
When Henry’s
addiction to eating books eventually leads him to become ill, he has to give
them up.
Then one day he
picks up a half eaten book from the floor, and discovers that he actually likes
to read.
Now instead of
eating books, he reads them all the time.
This is a great
book that I’d recommend reading with young children, it will encourage them to
read and learn new things.
It brings back
memories of when I was a child. I used to tear the corner edge from the
newspaper and chew it; but I could never eat a whole one. Newspaper that is!
