I read the children’s
book called, ‘Mr Gumpy’s Outing,’ the other day.
This book was written
and illustrated by John Burningham.
It’s a lovely children’s
story about Mr Gumpy’s outing on a boat; however when the wildlife wants to
come too, it doesn’t go as expected ending up with them all in the river!
This is a
wonderful book with great illustrations that show how animals react to one
another when in close proximity; especially on a boat.
My final
thought’s on this book is that it’s a great story to read to young children
they’d love it, and remember if you’re planning a boat trip, don’t take the
wildlife!
