Look At Me

I read the children’s book called, ‘Look At Me.’

This children’s book was written by Robert Munsch and is beautifully illustrated by Michael Martchenko.

It’s a delightful children’s picture book that tells the strange tale of a young girl named Madison, and a perfect rose.

When Madison finds a ticket that enables her to have free face painting, she’s very excited indeed.

But after having one perfect rose painted onto the side of her face, things began to get weird, for Madison found that more roses had started to grow.

Not only had more roses appeared onto her face, but they were also appearing all over her arms and body!

What was she going to do?

How was Madison going to get rid of them?

To find out what happened next, why not read the book or watch the story on YouTube, then you can tell me what you think?

This is a fantastic book, fun to read that young children would like.

It encourages a great imagination, so think twice before you get your face painted!

What The Jackdaw Saw

I read the children’s book called, ‘What the Jackdaw Saw.’

This children’s book was written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Nick Sharratt.

It’s a delightful children’s picture book, that’s written also in sign for deaf children.

The story tells the tale of a Jackdaw and what he can see.

When the Jackdaw flies over the seaside, farm, town, forest, he names all the animals he can see and invites them all to his party.

Everything’s going well until he flies into a thunder cloud, but then everything turns black and he bumps into a tree.

So, what happened next?

Will the Jackdaw still have a party?

What do you think?

To find out what happened to the Jackdaw, either read the book or watch the story on YouTube, then you can tell me what you think.

It’s a great book that all young children will enjoy. It encourages friendship and the learning of sign language.

The Flying Bath

I read the children’s book called, ‘The Flying Bath.’

This children’s book was written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by David Roberts.

This delightful rhyming children’s picture book tells the story of a flying bath.

The bath is like a super hero, for as it flies across the sky it helps many.

It drips water onto the flowers to help them grow, pours water onto a piglet to make it clean.

It also puts a fire out, saves some fish, and then flies home for the children’s bathtime.

It’s a lovely book to read especially at bedtime.

So, why not take a peek and read the book or watch the story on YouTube, then you can tell me what you think.

A great book to read with young children.

The Enormous Crocodile

I read the children’s book called, ‘The Enormous Crocodile.’

This children’s book was written by Roald Dahl and illustrated by Quentin Blake.

This children’s picture book tells the unusual tale of two crocodiles, one quite enormous, the other not so big.

In the muddy river the crocodiles discuss what they want to eat for lunch, but then disagree when the not so big crocodile finds out that the enormous crocodile wants to eat a child.

The not so big crocodile tried to persuade the enormous crocodile to change his food choice, but he leaves the muddy river and goes into the forest in search of his lunch.

When the forest animals find out, they make it very difficult for the enormous crocodile and warn the children each time he’s about to pounce.

So, what will happen in the end?

What do you think?

To find out what happened to the enormous crocodile in the end, why not read the book or watch the story on YouTube, then you can tell me what you think.

It’s an interesting story but could be scary for very young children.

Spider Sandwiches

I read the children’s book called, ‘Spider Sandwiches.’

This children’s book was written by Claire Freedman and beautifully illustrated by Sue Hendra.

It’s a delightful rhyming children’s picture book that tells the tale of Max the monster and all the unusual foods he likes to eat.

But Max the monster likes eating things that we wouldn’t dream of eating.

With his best snack being a spider sandwich that consists of spider web and all, it’s completely yucky!

So, if you like monsters and yucky foods this is the book for you.

A great rhyming picture book for children, it’s colourful and fun.

So, why not read the book or watch the story on YouTube, then you can tell me what you think?

It’s a great book that all young children will enjoy.
