Have You Got An Annoying Neighbour?

The other afternoon I read the children’s book called, ‘Goodnight Already.’

This children’s book was written by Jory John and is beautifully illustrated by Benji Davies.

This children’s book is about a bear and his neighbour, a duck.

When the bear gets tired and wants to sleep he becomes irritated when duck comes over to play and will not take no for an answer.

Now that would really annoy me, but bear is far too polite and tries to accommodate him.

Next time he should just do what I would and ignore the doorbell, eventually after an hour they usually go away.

This is a delightful book that I’d recommend reading with young children.

So why not read it now or watch it on YouTube and tell me what you think?

Do Dog’s Sleep Anywhere?

I read the children’s book called ‘Time for Bed Fred,’ one afternoon.

This book was written and illustrated by Yasmeen Ismail.

It’s a delightful tale of a dog called Fred who doesn’t want to go to bed.

Fred the dog does not want to go to bed, instead he wants to play outside in the garden. Finally when Fred the dog does go to sleep it’s anywhere except in his own bed!

Sounds familiar?

A great book to read at bedtime; young children will love it.

My final thought’s on this book is; that it’s a lovely story for children with fun illustrations.

How To Have A Peaceful Sleep?

I read the children’s book called ‘Peace at Last,’ the other morning.

This book was written and illustrated by Jill Murphy

It’s a lovely book telling the story of a very tired bear.

When Mr Bear tries to sleep in the house, he finds that every room is noisy.
Deciding to sleep in the garden, he finds that it’s also too noisy. Finally just as he’s about to fall asleep, the alarm clock goes off and wakes him up!

Don’t you just hate that feeling?

I’d recommend you read this book to young children at bedtime. It’s also wonderfully illustrated.

I have two possible solutions for Mr Bear’s sleeping problem. He could go to bed early or make sure he falls asleep before Mrs Bear does!

Read the book or watch the video on YouTube, then you’ll know what I mean.
