I read the children’s book called, ‘Night
Monkey, Day Monkey.’
This children’s book was written by
Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Lucy Richards.
It’s a great children’s picture book
about two monkeys.
When night monkey wakes up day monkey,
he’s scared not only of the dark but also of all the different creatures that
he’d never seen before. Also, all the noises that he can hear are all different
from what he’s used to.
Believing he’s now dreaming he goes
straight back to sleep.
The next morning day monkey wakes up
night monkey but the sun is bright and starts hurting her eyes. She rests in an
empty nest and learns of all the different creatures that come out in the
daytime.
Believing it’s just a dream she goes
back to bed.
Now the friends meet at sunrise to
share a banana or two, one calls it breakfast the other calls it tea.

It’s a great children’s picture book
