Whatever Next

I read the children’s book called, ‘Whatever Next.’

This children’s book was written and illustrated by Jill Murphy.

It’s a delightful children’s picture book that tells the tale of a baby bear that wants to go to the moon.

As baby bear looked up at the night sky he tells his mother that he wants to go to the moon. She tells him that he can’t because its bathtime and that he’d have to find a rocket.

So, whilst baby bear waited for his bath to be ready he looked around the house for a suitable rocket, finding one, he collected some things to take with him on his journey to the moon.

And then just before bathtime he travelled to the moon meeting an owl on the way.

What do you think baby bear and owl found on the moon?

To find out what happened next, why not read the book or watch the story on YouTube, then you can tell me what you think.

This is a wonderful children’s picture book that encourages children to use their imagination.

The Gruffalo’s Child

I read the children’s book called, ‘The Gruffalo’s Child.’

This children’s book was written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler.

It’s a delightful children’s picture book that tells the tale of the big bad mouse.

After being warned about a big bad mouse living in the woods, the Gruffalo’s child gets curious.

Then one evening bored out of her mind she goes into the woods.

Inside, she meets many animals.

They each tell her something very scary about the big bad mouse.

So, what do you think happened when she found the big bad mouse?

To find out what happened next, why not read the book or watch the story on YouTube, then you can tell me what you think.

It’s a great book for young children they’d like it.

Night Monkey Day Monkey

I read the children’s book called, ‘Night Monkey, Day Monkey.’

This children’s book was written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Lucy Richards.

It’s a great children’s picture book about two monkeys.

When night monkey wakes up day monkey, he’s scared not only of the dark but also of all the different creatures that he’d never seen before. Also, all the noises that he can hear are all different from what he’s used to.

Believing he’s now dreaming he goes straight back to sleep.

The next morning day monkey wakes up night monkey but the sun is bright and starts hurting her eyes. She rests in an empty nest and learns of all the different creatures that come out in the daytime.

Believing it’s just a dream she goes back to bed.

Now the friends meet at sunrise to share a banana or two, one calls it breakfast the other calls it tea.

So, to find out which monkey calls it breakfast and which one calls it tea why not read the book or watch the story on YouTube, then you can tell me what you think.

It’s a great children’s picture book that encourages friendship.
