I read the children’s
book called, “James and the Rain.”
This children’s
picture book was written by Karla Kuskin and iIllustrated by Reg Cartwright.
It’s a rhyming
children’s picture book that incorporates animals and counting.
This delightful
children’s book tells the tale of a boy called James and the rain.
After putting
on his bright yellow coat and rubber boots, he takes his big umbrella and goes
outside in the rain.
He meets a cow,
some ducks, toads, birds, dogs, rabbits, mice and cats; together they learn new
exciting rainy games to play outside in the rain.
It’s a lovely
story that’s great to read with young children, you never know you might end up
playing one of the rainy games the next time it rains?
