I read the
children’s book called, ‘The Way Back Home,’ yesterday.
This children’s
book was written and illustrated by Oliver Jeffers.
It’s a
wonderful children’s book that tells the story of a boy that finds an aeroplane
in his cupboard.
The boy can’t
wait to fly the aeroplane but then it runs out of petrol leaving him stranded
on the moon.
He soon finds
out that he’s not alone and is surprised to see a Martian.
The boy learns
that the Martian is also stranded as his spacecraft is broken.
Unable to leave
they become friends and make a plan to fix both machines so they can return
home.
It’s a delightful
children’s story that encourages imagination, making friends, and working
together.
I’d recommend
reading with young children.
