What The Ladybird Heard?

I read the book called ‘What the Ladybird Heard,’ one morning.

This book was written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Lydia Monks.

It’s a lovely story about a ladybird that lives on a farm, and although the ladybird never speaks she watches and listens to everything.

When she hears two crafty thieves planning to steal something from the farm, she tells the other farm animals and they devise a plan to catch them.

This is a wonderful story for young children, encouraging friendship and teamwork.

My final thought’s on this book is; it’s funny, colourful and has a great ending.

Read it now or watch it on YouTube and tell me what you think?
