I read the book
called ‘Room on the Broom,’ the other morning.
This book was written
by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler.
It’s a delightful
rhyming story about a kind witch and her cat taking a ride on a broomstick.
However, when
the wind blows off her hat, it starts a whole episode of mishaps.
But when she’s about
to be eaten by a very hungry dragon, her camouflaged animal friends come to the
rescue!
This is a
wonderful story for young children, encouraging friendship and sharing.
My final
thought on this lovely illustrated book is that it’s a great story for young
children to read that ends on a positive note.
The moral of the
story in this book is to ‘Be kind to
others and they will return the favour.’
Read it now or
watch it on YouTube and tell me what you think?
