Would You Have A Witch As A Friend?

I read the children’s book called, “A Very Brave Witch.”

This children’s book was written by Alison McGhee and illustrated by Harry Bliss.

It’s a beautifully illustrated children’s picture book about a witch.

This delightful children’s picture book tells the tale of a witch that likes Halloween as this was her favourite holiday.

Most witches were scared of humans but she wasn’t, even though they looked different from her – No green skin. Then on Halloween night the witch loses control of her broom stick and lands right in front of humans that are dressed in Halloween costume.

Oh no, will she make friends with the humans or was her witchy friend’s right to be scared of humans.

What do you think?

Read the book now or listen to it on YouTube, then you can let me know.

How Friendship's Cure Loneiness?

I read the children’s book called ‘Lost and Found,’ one afternoon.

This book was written and illustrated by Oliver Jeffers.

It tells the story of a small boy and an unexpected visitor; a Penguin!

The small boy believing that the Penguin is lost takes him back home to the South Pole; but then soon discovers that the Penguin isn’t lost, he’s just lonely.

I’d recommend reading this story to young children it’s a delightful story, with colourful illustrations.

I believe the moral of the story in this book is; ‘Friendship cures loneliness.’

So with that in mind, why don’t you say a friendly ‘Morning’ or ‘Afternoon,’ to a neighbour, work colleague or someone you don’t know and make their day, because after all friendship cures loneliness.

Why not read the book now or watch it on YouTube, and tell me what you think?
