What does a witch, a bat and a pumpkin have in common?

'Ernie The Fangless Bat'

The best non-scary Halloween book ever for young children or adults.

It's also got larger print for early readers.

Hello everyone,

Halloween's coming fast so why not read a witchy story about a witch that helps a bat, a very toothless bat at that and a pumpkin seed!

It’s not a scary book at all, but magical, delightful, colourful with a story-line to match for young children or adults.

‘Ernie The Fangless Bat,’ written by Charmain Ingleton tells the tale of a little bat named Ernie who is usually quite happy except for when it’s Halloween, for without fangs how can he scare or frighten anyone?

Well, the witch helps little Ernie get his fangs but how is that possible unless magic was used in some way?

Would You Have A Witch As A Friend?

I read the children’s book called, “A Very Brave Witch.”

This children’s book was written by Alison McGhee and illustrated by Harry Bliss.

It’s a beautifully illustrated children’s picture book about a witch.

This delightful children’s picture book tells the tale of a witch that likes Halloween as this was her favourite holiday.

Most witches were scared of humans but she wasn’t, even though they looked different from her – No green skin. Then on Halloween night the witch loses control of her broom stick and lands right in front of humans that are dressed in Halloween costume.

Oh no, will she make friends with the humans or was her witchy friend’s right to be scared of humans.

What do you think?

Read the book now or listen to it on YouTube, then you can let me know.

A Witch’s Pumpkin?

The other morning I read the children’s book called, ‘Big Pumpkin.’

This children’s book was written by Erica Silverman and is beautifully illustrated by S.D. Shindler.

It’s a comical children’s story about a witch and a pumpkin.

As Halloween approaches a witch wants to make a pumpkin pie, but first she need’s to pick it from the vine.

Unfortunately it’s not that simple and she requires a little help from a ghost, a vampire, a mummy and a bat, but will she ever free the pumpkin to make a pumpkin pie?

It’s a great book with a few well known scary characters.

Why not read the book now and tell me what you think?

Also, why not plant your own pumpkin seed then you too can make pumpkin pie?
