I read the children’s
book called, “The Detective Dog.”
This children’s book was written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by
Sara Ogilvie.
It’s a
delightful story about a dog called Nell who turns detective.
When books go
missing at a school Nell turns detective and follows the scent of the missing
books with the school children and teacher following close behind.
When they find
the books the book thief is found reading them. He’s very sorry that he took
the books he only wanted to borrow them to read and had intended to bring them
back the following day.
However instead
of reprimanding the book thief, Nell the dog detective takes him to a library
where he can take books out whenever he wants for free.
What a great
story.
