What's A Worm Diary?

The other morning I read the children’s book called, ‘Diary Of A Worm.’

This children’s book was written by Doreen Cronin and is beautifully illustrated by Harry Bliss.

This children’s book is about a worm’s day to day life in the earth.

It’s a humorous book that gives an insight of a worm’s life, his abilities and the obstacles he faces.

And although he has the full support from his family and spider friend, he knows that earth is also grateful to him in tunneling the soil which benefits all plants and grass.

It’s a delightful book that I’d recommend reading with young children, I’m sure they will love worms after reading this book, I know I do.

And the best thing about being a worm; you don’t ever have to go to the dentist or take a bath.

So read it now or watch it on YouTube and tell me what you think?

Is A Black Hole The Same As A Worm Hole?

The question I have to ask, “Is a black hole the same as a worm hole?”

Apparently not; a wormhole takes you from one part of the universe to another while a black hole is like a giant hover sucking everything into a tiny space.

With that said no probe has ever been sent into a black hole so how do they actually know?

One conspiracy theory that concerns 12 probes that were sent to search for habitable planets is that they weren’t probes at all but were actual astronauts, and that’s how they were able to determine if life existed on these planets; confirming their findings by transmitting data and images back to Earth.

But is this true?

It’s possible but it would be a one way ticket just like the future planned mission to Mars, as that too is a one way trip.

If I was younger I would have jumped at the chance to venture into space and go to Mars even though it is a one way ticket.

To be one of the first to go to a new planet and make history that would be great, realistically though it's going to be hard for each of them to say goodbye to family and friends as once their in the rocket there's no turning back.

But who knows they could be contacted by an alien species before they even reach Mars, now that would be interesting.

We could learn of a wormhole shortcut just round the corner from Earth that can take us  to Mars in minutes.

But what do you think?

Is It A Duck Or A Rabbit?

The other day I read the children’s book called, ‘Duck Rabbit.’

This children’s book was written by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and beautifully illustrated by Tom Lichtenheld.

It’s a great children’s book with simple illustrations that tell a wonderful story about a duck and rabbit.

It’s wonderful that the illustrations show both animals in the one picture so that the reader has to decide.

This is a delightful book that I’d recommend reading with young children as they will love trying to solve the puzzle.

So read it now or watch it on YouTube and tell me what you think?

The Hadron Collider Mystery?

What are scientists trying to discover when the Hadron Collider is switched on?

Is it to create a black hole or to create gravity?

It’s fascinating how we want to learn everything there is to know about the beginning of life and our planet.

However with that said and no actual proof of any, most is taught to us on theories of others, but now bored with that scientists now want to find the next big discovery and their using the Large Hadron Collider to do it.

Recently the Large Hadron Collider detected more photons than expected as it smashed particles and with flashes of light being seen bought excitement to many physicists in La Thuile in the Italian Alps.

Could this be the start of the next big thing? And if so what?

That’s the mystery of science nobody knows, but at least it will keep the scientists busy for some time.

What do you think?

Have You Got An Annoying Neighbour?

The other afternoon I read the children’s book called, ‘Goodnight Already.’

This children’s book was written by Jory John and is beautifully illustrated by Benji Davies.

This children’s book is about a bear and his neighbour, a duck.

When the bear gets tired and wants to sleep he becomes irritated when duck comes over to play and will not take no for an answer.

Now that would really annoy me, but bear is far too polite and tries to accommodate him.

Next time he should just do what I would and ignore the doorbell, eventually after an hour they usually go away.

This is a delightful book that I’d recommend reading with young children.

So why not read it now or watch it on YouTube and tell me what you think?

Is A Black Hole A Gateway?

The question is “What is a black hole?”

The answer; a black hole is a region of space where its gravitational field is so intense that not even light can escape from it.

It’s claimed that as we cannot see any light they are invisible to us.

But is it possible that this is a doorway to a new dimension or new galaxy?

Just because we don’t have the ability to examine it more closely, does not mean that this is the end.

For the amount of power and energy that a black hole creates in order to churn and pull stars within its core could actually be how galaxies were created in the first place.

Now I’m not a scientist but whatever the answer I find black holes intriguing, and until we humans send a probe into our nearest black hole I believe that these are gateways to other galaxies.

What do you think?
