Do Viruses Come From Space?

The question is, “Do viruses come from space?”

It’s said that comet and meteorite impacts made life on earth.

So with that in mind isn’t it possible that they’re also destroying us too?

Is sickness or ill health created by our own life styles, or from something more sinister?

For I’ve observed that we have many illnesses on our planet, some incurable.

Pharmaceutical companies make a mint by producing cures in one form or another and if you can afford to pay for them you will, but there’s never a guarantee that they’d work.

Now I’m no scientist but I had a thought that these could be caused by one of two things;

Either an unscrupulous company had created and spread a new virus in order to receive funding for research.

Or microscopic bacteria had landed and thrived on planet Earth. Then when the conditions were right the spores dispersed across the world making contact with birds and wildlife.

Where upon sniffing or eating the spore it remained dormant within the animal until eaten by us humans; then mutation would begin the start of an incurable illness or defect that could be spread throughout generations.

Hey but that’s just my theory as I’m no scientist. Anyway let me know what you think.

Believe And You Can Be Anything

I read the children’s book called, ‘The Wonderful Things You Can Be.’

This children’s book was written and illustrated by Emily Winfield Martin.

This beautiful children’s book is a great read for parents as it expresses thoughts on what our children could experience through their journey to adulthood.

When my children were young I’d always told them that, they could be whatever they wanted to be; the world was their oyster.

We always want the best for our children, but the best gift of all is love, encouragement and support, and with these three things they will go far.

I’d recommend reading this book to children of all ages, for you never know this story may be the one they never forget.

So why not either read the book or watch the story on Youtube, then you can tell me what you want to become.

Can Electrical Items Talk?

The question is, “Can Electrical Items Talk?”

Now I know that electricity is one form of energy and that everyday objects can change electricity into another form of energy for e.g. using a torch creates light energy, whereas a doorbell creates sound energy.

I’ve even read articles about new technology.

One was about LG and their ‘talking’ washing machine, the other of the Samsung app that can connect to your washing machine letting you select a cycle, even when you’re out.

Also the future of wi-fi enabled washing machines is just the beginning, eventually all the kitchen appliances will be able to communicate with each other and also with you.

Wow, imagine that, whilst you’re at work your washing machine’s having a conversation with your cooker.

However with all the futuristic technology due to burst onto the scene, it appears my washing machine has already received the memo.

For a few months now although infrequent my washing machine beeps to me when doing a wash cycle, sounding off short bursts of beeps for no longer than a minute. It’s as if a coded message is being emitted, but sounds a little like Morse code.

The strange thing is that it only happens when I’m in the kitchen alone. The first time it happened it scared me.

Now when it starts to communicate with a series of beeps, I just say, ‘Hello, how are you,’ then carry on as normal, whilst it happily washes my clothes.

It’s just a shame I don’t understand what it’s trying to say!

Maybe I should learn Morse code, what do you think?

How To Make A Fabulous Pie

I read the children’s book called, ‘Fabulous Pie,’ the other morning.

This colourful children’s book was written by Gareth Edwards and is beautifully illustrated by Guy Parker-Rees.

This story is about a bear that wants to make a fabulous pie but first he needs to find a filling.

The forest animals are happy to help find filling for the pie; berries, hazelnuts, honey and a fish.

But after all their efforts they’re angry that the bear still thinks it’s not full enough and wants something extra.

Unfortunately for them they’re shocked to learn that the something extra is them!

Will the forest animals escape or become pie filling?

Read the book or watch the story on Youtube then tell me what happens at the end and let me know your favourite pie filling, mines apple.

Are We Ready For Space?

The question is, “Are we ready for Space?”

I understand there’s always the race to be first to go into space to do what no other has done before, but then what?

What is the aim?

Is it to capture and lay claim to a planet?

Then there’s security. How do you secure it from being invaded by another species?

All I see is one big headache.

I believe before we venture into space we should fully explore and unlock the mysteries on our own planet first, for example the oceans and South Pole.

But hey that’s just my opinion.

What do you think?

How To Be An Artist

I read the children’s book called, ‘I m an artist,’ yesterday afternoon.

This children’s book was written and illustrated by Marta Altes.

This funny delightful book tells the story of a small boy who sees’s art everywhere.

Inspired by nature, colours, movement, texture and shapes he creates artistic masterpieces in the house much to the dismay of his mum.

But has he gone too far when he creates something special for her?

Hmm I wonder?

It’s a great read it’ll put a smile on your face and the children will love it.

This book encourages imagination and creativity.

Who knows you may even have a little artist in your midst.

So either read the book or watch the story on Youtube, then you can tell me what you think.
