Where Is The Green Sheep?

The other morning I read the children’s book called, ‘Where Is The Green Sheep.’

This children’s book was written by Mem Fox and illustrated by Judy Horacek.

It’s a lovely children’s book about sheep, but the question asked at the end is always “Where is the green sheep?”

It’s a delightful short story I’d recommend reading to all children.

It’s educational and encourages children to interact and look for the green sheep.

You better check under your bed, it could be there!

So read it now or watch it on YouTube and tell me what you think?

Can We Time Travel?

My question is, “Can we time travel?”

Unfortunately it’s claimed that time travel isn’t possible without a portal, wormhole or time machine or like in Star Trek we slingshot off a star.

Well I’m not a scientist but I’ve time travelled to and from the future, and surprisingly enough so have a lot of people.

Now I’ve not gone through a portal or wormhole, and I’ve not used a time machine or been on board the Enterprise, but I have been on an aeroplane.

I travelled to Jamaica which I’ve gone back in time by 6 hours UK time and on my return to the UK, I travelled 6 hours into the future.

So the simple answer is yes, we can time travel.

So if you've travelled to America, Japan, Australia or beyond then you too have experienced time travel.

I’m not sure if the physicists would agree, but what do you think?

Can You Grow A Red Lemon?

The other morning I read the children’s book called, ‘The Red Lemon.’

This children’s book was written and illustrated by Bob Staake.

It’s a delightful children’s rhyming book about Farmer McPhee and a red lemon.

Farmer McPhee grows perfect yellow lemons, but when he finds a red lemon on one of his lemon trees he quickly gets rid of it by tossing it across the blue sea and onto an island.

However many years later the farmers lemon orchard become weeds, but the red lemon seeds have succeeded in growing an orchard of red lemon trees.

The island is now a successful tourist attraction bringing many visitors that want to eat and taste the sweet red lemon.

This is a wonderful story that educates children and adults to realise that imperfections are not a bad thing and may have more to offer in a different way.

As just like the red lemon it looked different but turned out to have much more to offer in the end.

I’d recommend children and adults read it as its very educational.

In life you will always come across something not to your liking, but remember if you turn a negative thought into a positive one, you will always find it was worth it in the end and more than likely, better than first expected.

So read it now or watch it on YouTube and tell me what you think?

Is A Drone A Robot?

Friend or foe, love them or hate them, are drones robots?

It’s the user that decides its fate, to create a wonderful tool to bring happiness or to bring death and destruction.

Generally drones can be used for the greater good, fitted with filming or camera equipment it can bring a new perspective to watching a video or programme on television.

With no wires attached the Ariel views capture images not seen before, this was surely a great robot to have.

But unfortunately as a product with positive attributes there are those who could also see the these attributes to a licence to kill.

Now we have flying unmanned machines that kill people from a great distance without harm to its user and with insect drones now being created, will we ever be able to tell them apart?

I think not, but more worrying is that a lot of us are now using the robot vacuum cleaners, how do we know that they’re not spying on us?

I say treat your vacuum with respect as you never know when you’ll need an ally.

What do you think?

What's A Worm Diary?

The other morning I read the children’s book called, ‘Diary Of A Worm.’

This children’s book was written by Doreen Cronin and is beautifully illustrated by Harry Bliss.

This children’s book is about a worm’s day to day life in the earth.

It’s a humorous book that gives an insight of a worm’s life, his abilities and the obstacles he faces.

And although he has the full support from his family and spider friend, he knows that earth is also grateful to him in tunneling the soil which benefits all plants and grass.

It’s a delightful book that I’d recommend reading with young children, I’m sure they will love worms after reading this book, I know I do.

And the best thing about being a worm; you don’t ever have to go to the dentist or take a bath.

So read it now or watch it on YouTube and tell me what you think?

Is A Black Hole The Same As A Worm Hole?

The question I have to ask, “Is a black hole the same as a worm hole?”

Apparently not; a wormhole takes you from one part of the universe to another while a black hole is like a giant hover sucking everything into a tiny space.

With that said no probe has ever been sent into a black hole so how do they actually know?

One conspiracy theory that concerns 12 probes that were sent to search for habitable planets is that they weren’t probes at all but were actual astronauts, and that’s how they were able to determine if life existed on these planets; confirming their findings by transmitting data and images back to Earth.

But is this true?

It’s possible but it would be a one way ticket just like the future planned mission to Mars, as that too is a one way trip.

If I was younger I would have jumped at the chance to venture into space and go to Mars even though it is a one way ticket.

To be one of the first to go to a new planet and make history that would be great, realistically though it's going to be hard for each of them to say goodbye to family and friends as once their in the rocket there's no turning back.

But who knows they could be contacted by an alien species before they even reach Mars, now that would be interesting.

We could learn of a wormhole shortcut just round the corner from Earth that can take us  to Mars in minutes.

But what do you think?

Is It A Duck Or A Rabbit?

The other day I read the children’s book called, ‘Duck Rabbit.’

This children’s book was written by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and beautifully illustrated by Tom Lichtenheld.

It’s a great children’s book with simple illustrations that tell a wonderful story about a duck and rabbit.

It’s wonderful that the illustrations show both animals in the one picture so that the reader has to decide.

This is a delightful book that I’d recommend reading with young children as they will love trying to solve the puzzle.

So read it now or watch it on YouTube and tell me what you think?

The Hadron Collider Mystery?

What are scientists trying to discover when the Hadron Collider is switched on?

Is it to create a black hole or to create gravity?

It’s fascinating how we want to learn everything there is to know about the beginning of life and our planet.

However with that said and no actual proof of any, most is taught to us on theories of others, but now bored with that scientists now want to find the next big discovery and their using the Large Hadron Collider to do it.

Recently the Large Hadron Collider detected more photons than expected as it smashed particles and with flashes of light being seen bought excitement to many physicists in La Thuile in the Italian Alps.

Could this be the start of the next big thing? And if so what?

That’s the mystery of science nobody knows, but at least it will keep the scientists busy for some time.

What do you think?

Have You Got An Annoying Neighbour?

The other afternoon I read the children’s book called, ‘Goodnight Already.’

This children’s book was written by Jory John and is beautifully illustrated by Benji Davies.

This children’s book is about a bear and his neighbour, a duck.

When the bear gets tired and wants to sleep he becomes irritated when duck comes over to play and will not take no for an answer.

Now that would really annoy me, but bear is far too polite and tries to accommodate him.

Next time he should just do what I would and ignore the doorbell, eventually after an hour they usually go away.

This is a delightful book that I’d recommend reading with young children.

So why not read it now or watch it on YouTube and tell me what you think?
